Colin has written a book showcasing his farm-to-fork philosophy and continues to push the culinary boundaries exploring the corners of the globe in his quest to experience all food has to offer.
A Table At The Fields offers a snapshot into the McGurrans’ world, taking you through a year in the life of Winteringham Fields. From planting the seedlings in the fields to rearing livestock from birth, all the way through to the great big harvest, the heat of the kitchen and the completed dish; this book showcases Colin’s ‘One Mile Menu’ at its finest.

We celebrated our engagement dinner at Slates and had such an amazing night. The food was exceptional, the staff were great and the atmosphere was perfect. I couldn’t recommend an evening here more.

I had a lovely experience. I was the first of my party to arrive, which was 25 minutes before the reservation. However, I received a warm greeting from the staff and I was given the option to stay at the lounge/waiting area to the left, after which I was presented with the cocktail menu as I waited. I really wish to emphasize the point that the staff were very friendly and accommodating without being annoying/overbearing; they were perfect. I enjoyed the meal, enjoyed the presentation/plating, and most of all, the fish was prepared exactly to my liking. I indicated my shellfish allergy and the staff diligently explained all dishes and discussed possible alternatives to the menu to work around that issue. Appetizer, entree, dessert and a few drinks amounted to just over EC$300 per person, which was value for money when all things are considered. I highly recommend Slates for dinner if you're on that side of the island.

What a great experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff provided exceptional service, and the food was absolutely spectacular. Truly a 5-star experience in every way. Thank you, Slates — we will definitely be back!

Upon arrival, we were welcomed into a cozy waiting area where cocktails were offered as we waited for the rest of our party. The weight staff are very knowledgeable about the dishes. Once seated, our orders were taken promptly, and the meals arrived at the right temperature — seasoned to perfection. The presentation was beautiful, allowing us to savor the dishes with our eyes before tasting.
The only drawback was that the food service felt a bit slow for some of the courses, and parking is limited, which may require leaving your car on the main road at your own discretion.
Overall, it was a delightful dining experience with excellent flavors and thoughtful presentation, worth visiting if you don’t mind a little patience and planning for parking.

Every dish was thoughtfully made and full of flavor. The mushroom tortellini was absolutely delicious. The English beef roast tasted very homemade, tender, comforting, rich, and flavorful. The desserts were true works of art and tasted incredible too. They were not just sweet, but had real depth and beautiful combinations of flavors. The staff was also very attentive.

This is a Michelin star type of restaurant but an island casual vibe. The food is amazing and so are the drinks!! You can't go wrong with anything you order. However I do need to give the service staff an A++++...outstanding in every way. They elevated our dining experience.

Delicious, cute, cozy, friendly, attentive, kind, comfortable, yummy,....what else can I say.
Upon getting there we were greated by a very nice guy with a warm smile. Our waitress was sweet, pretty and attentive.
The Expresso Martinis were made just as we wanted with great froth. The crispy little cups with the Parmesan cheese on top were yummy and creamy! Could of ate more for sure. The seafood linguine was flavorful, full of seafood and phenomenal! The chicken Milenese was very tasty. The mushroom ravioli app in the pumpkin sauce was EVERYTHING! I devoured the sauce. It's a good restaurant, with nice people and delicious food/drinks.

Hands down the best restaurant in Antigua! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. The ambience is absolutely perfect—elegant yet relaxed, with every detail thoughtfully curated to enhance the overall experience.
The dishes were nothing short of extraordinary. Each one was a work of art, both in presentation and flavor. These are not meals you’ll find anywhere else in Antigua —unique, creative, and bursting with taste. You can really tell the chef pours passion and originality into every plate.
What made the evening even more exceptional was the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They made us feel genuinely welcome, offering thoughtful recommendations and making the experience feel personal.
We’re already planning our next visit. This place is truly a gem and a must-visit for anyone in Antigua. Bravo!

What a delicious treat. We sat in a beautiful garden, watching hummingbirds,while the friendly and professional staff served us top notch delicious food. The wine was fabulous and well priced. We'll done and thank you for such a special treat.

Last night, I dined at this incredible restaurant with three friends, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the first bite to the last, every dish was a masterpiece—delicately prepared, with original and perfectly balanced flavor combinations that left us in awe.
We decided to order a selection of dishes to share, allowing us to experience a variety of the chef’s creations. Each plate was a revelation, but the crowning glory was the aged steak—rich, tender, and cooked to perfection. The attention to detail in every component of the meal was extraordinary, and the food was easily worthy of Michelin stars.
What made the evening even more special was when the chef came out to chat with us. He shared his approach to cooking, his passion for quality, and even the challenges he faces in sourcing consistent ingredients on island. His warmth and dedication added a personal touch that rounded off the night beautifully.

Good varied proposal with influences from typical foreign dishes. Extremely attentive service and the possibility of ordering cocktails too, with European bottles. I expected a slightly lower cost, but all in all, reasonable.

Can't recommend too highly. The food was absolutely delicious, from the outstanding amuse bouche and continuing throughout the meal. Tge four of us shared two desserts because we were full but couldn't resist more of this outstanding food! The service was highly efficient without being overbearing. The frozen daiquiri and wine were excellent too!
Our first visit, but definitely not our last!
